Global Links seeks to ignite the French pioneering spirit of Jules Verne, in the realms of economics, science and exploration
Since 2011 the Global Links ideas laboratory has been promoting the excellence and innovative abilities of French and international companies operating in the future industrial sectors by:
- Organising and facilitating work groups composed of specialists from the relevant sectors, politicians of all hues, and members of civil society. The sessions take place in the symbolic venue of the French National Assembly in Paris.
- Publishing the proposals, reports and summaries from these work groups which can be used to influence public industrial policies and generate greater awareness.
Why Global Links was formed:
- There is a genuine need for a forum where politicians and economic players can come together to discuss and prepare for the industrial France of tomorrow
- There is an opportunity, as highlighted by the French government report “The 34 Industrial Reconquest Plans”, to raise awareness on the importance of reindustrialisng France’s economic fabric.
Global Links seeks to meet the above by providing the ideal setting where all the players of tomorrow’s industries can meet and discuss.
